DAVARAN [dæ-væ-rɒːn] is the sonic identity of Berlin-based composer and producer, Rasool Poursangari.

The project lives in the space between hypnotic electronic structures and organic, driving grooves. Guided by the concept of "voices in rotation", it brings the subtle, bending notes of ancient Persian microtonality into a modern rhythmic framework—creating a sound that feels both highly mechanized and intensely human.

On stage, DAVARAN is built entirely from scratch. By looping electric guitar patterns in real time alongside live synthesizers, multiple distinct melodies are layered to weave and dance around one another. The result is a deep, physical experience that pulls the audience into a continuous flow of interlocking rhythms, shifting cinematic atmospheres, and the hypnotic pulse of electronic music.
