DAVARAN [dæ-væ-rɒːn] is the sonic identity of Berlin-based composer and producer, Rasool Poursangari.

Rooted in deep, hypnotic minimal dub techno and degraded ambient noise, the project explores the concept of "voices in rotation". Here, the microtonal gravity of ancient Persian acoustic theory is dissolved into the rigid structures of the modern techno grid. The result is a complex rhythmic language that bridges heavy sound system pressure with vast, cinematic atmospheres.

At its core, DAVARAN is a live act. The performance is a physical, hardware-driven experience where generative modular synthesis, granular processing, and live sequencing collide to create a raw, immersive soundscape. It is a direct translation of code into heavy acoustic weight, pulling the listener into a deep, trance-like space governed by massive sub-frequencies and shifting environmental textures.
